CTS is GMP-compliant and ISO-registered. Depending on the customer’s needs, endotoxin testing can be performed according to FDA, USP, EP, and/or JP specifications.

In addition to routine testing, CTS has extensive expertise and the ability to:

CTS offers fast processing for routine samples, accurate and reliable test results, and full client confidentiality. The client receives a written report and, if requested, an electronic copy as a PDF.

A Sample Submission Form must be completed and accompany each sample sent for testing. Sample Submission Forms can also be obtained by calling CTS at (888) 232–5889.

What To Send

• Finished products should be sent in their final packages. This is especially important for medical devices.
• SDS sheets for samples.
• Non-finished products may be shipped in any container that does not adsorb endotoxin or produce compounds that may interfere with the assay. Examples of acceptable containers are glass, polystyrene, and PET plastic.
• Solid samples: A convenient sample weight is 100 mg or more.
• Liquid samples: A convenient sample volume is 2 mL for turbidimetric and chromogenic assays and 4 mL for the gel-clot assay. If the product concentration is known, please state it. Smaller volumes may be acceptable depending on the final concentration needed for testing.
• Do NOT send samples that are infectious to humans or are radioactive. Samples from human tissue must be accompanied by a copy of lab results showing that the patient does not have hepatitis or HIV virus.

How Soon Can I Get Results?

• STAT* Test — study initiated 24 hours from receipt of sample
• RUSH* Test — study initiated 48 hours from receipt of sample
• Standard Test — Please contact the Contract Test Service Laboratory for the current Standard turn-around-time (TAT). The Standard TAT is based on the number of studies, complexity of testing, and any expedited test requests in queue.

• Credit Card (AMEX^®, VISA^®, MasterCard^®).
• If payment is to be made by credit card, the following information is required: the type of Credit Card, the Card number, the Credit Card Security code, the Expiration Date of the Card and the Name (as it appears on the card).
• Wire Transfer (contact Accounts Receivable for routing information).
• Check (in US dollars) made payable to ACC.

Additional Payment Information

For orders under $1500, payment must be made via credit card. For US and Canadian customers not paying by credit card, the standard terms are Net 30 days. ACC reserves the right to adjust credit status as customer credit history necessitates. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions accompanying your quotation or invoice.

Neither preliminary nor final results will be released until an approved payment method is provided or account has been approved for net 30 terms.
