ACC Supports the Next Generation of Scientific Professionals
At Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC), we are proud to invest in the next generation of scientific and manufacturing professionals through our long-standing internship program. For over a decade, ACC has partnered with approximately 12 colleges and universities to provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience during the summer months.
Interns play an important role in our Raw Material Extraction Program—a critical component supporting the manufacture of Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL), essential for ensuring the safety of injectable drugs and medical devices worldwide. Through this experience, students gain real-world exposure to regulated manufacturing environments, quality-focused processes, and the broader impact of their work on global healthcare.
In addition to practical experience, many participating institutions offer academic credit for students who complete the program, further enhancing the value of their time at ACC.
